No two rooms in the house are the same. Each is dressed in one soft colour and takes its name from it — so guests ask for Ocean Teal or Lyon Mint rather than a number on a door. Three sit on the ground floor and open toward the garden; four are above, with the hills through the window.
All seven carry a king bed, a walk-in rain shower, room heating for the cold months and breakfast each morning. The rest is a matter of which colour you would like to wake up in.

Panelled in soft white with a caned settee and floral accents. A sunlit, gentle room a step from the courtyard.
Cool greys warmed by brass and cream linen — made for slow mornings and breakfast brought to the room.
The lightest suite — pale blue, a caned daybed and a wall of windows that catch the morning. A room that feels like sky.
The richest room upstairs — teal walls, a chinoiserie lamp and an arched window over the treetops. The telescope earns its keep on clear nights.
Pale mint walls, a gilded mirror and a curio of fine china — a garden brought indoors. Bright by day, glowing by lamp.
Warm taupe and paisley throws with a corner made for a book and a mug of cocoa. The room to disappear into.
Every room is dressed in a single soft colour and named for it. Crisp white furniture, tufted chaises, floral upholstery and fine chinaware — no two alike, and none of them numbered on the door.
